DESCRIPTION
YAS Island is a large natural island located off Abu Dhabi, the national capital of the United Arab Emirates. YAS Island will be the only destination in the world that combines Arabian desert and maritime traditions with the fascinations of Florida and the elegance of Monte Carlo. It will be the world’s most complete leisure destination occupying a total land area of 2,500 hectares.
In addition to the world’s first and only Ferrari theme park, YAS Island will also be home to a Warner Bros theme park, a Formula 1 racetrack, which will be hosting the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix from 2009. Other attractions include a state of the art Water Park, the first Links golf course in the UAE and a 250,000 m2 Retail Mall. With luxury hotels, water features, beaches, commercial offices, boutiques and spas, YAS Island is set to become a unique international tourist attraction.
