Business Bay Apartments Demand and Prices - Q1 2016

The largest volume of transactions in the last few years, was registered in the first quarter of 2015 even though the sale rate was just as high. There was a downhill demand for the area in the last three quarters of the year with a stable sale rate in the last two quarters.

The demand in this area has been steadily escalating from Q3 of 2014 up to the end of 2015. One of the reasons was the constant decline in prices. The average sales rate at the end of the year indicated the same rate as we had in Q3 2013.

By the third quarter of 2015 prices had significantly decreased which started at the beginning of 2015. Although demand rose in the second quarter due to lower prices, only in the last quarter did the sale prices start to indicate a slight enhancement.
